International Exchange of Hokkaido 4 !

by Kazu

We, as the prefectural government officers of Hokkaido, should thank enough to the activities conducted by the entities that carry out the international exchange for the society in Hokkaido.
It was the first time  for us to arrange such a fashion show to introduce the traditional attire of the people in the state that has a special relationship with Hokkaido. Please appreciate their own culture and the differences.

Breakfast provided by the hotel "Tsuruga Moku-no-shou" !

 by Kazu

Pickled radish, salty dried Japanese apricot, salty cod roe caslled "Tarako" in Japanese, grilled mackerel, kelp boiled with broth were waiting for us in that morning.
Grilled Patagonian Tooth fish or cod was the protagonist of the breakfast.Fermented soy-beans paste with veggie accompanied.
Boiled soy-beans curd, veggie salad, Japanese fried egg with broth were served so nicely and beautifully. After jogging around in the forest, the cuisine energized us so much with its sophisticated and subtle way.

The Sky looked so high !

 by Kazu

Looking up the blue sky from the outside spa, I could see the move of the air over the bathtub.  Drafting mist and air made me feel free from the tough world.
The mist was continued to change its shape. It was like an ogre, fish, birds, butterfly, reptile and so forth.
After getting second wing in the hot spring bath, my wife and I headed to the venue of breakfast. What was waiting for us ?

Morning Hot Spring Bath in "Tsuruga Moku-no-shou" Niseko !

by Kazu

I am so sorry for failing to post thephotos of the entrance of the hotel "Tsuruga Moku-no-shou". Getting down to the hotel from the national route, the hotel appeared from the forest.
After going across the small bridge over the small river with the small waterfall, the entrance with the typical design pattern of the indigenous people welcomes the guests.
Early in the morning of that day, the hot spring spa was filled with mist from the bath and the sunshine gave so nice twist to the scenery. What a wonderful relaxing scenery of the world.

"Kanro-no-mori" in Niseko !

 by Kazu

This is the premises of "Kanro-no-mori" under the sunshine. Kanro means the  blessing rain in heaven in Buddhism.
The lawn on the premises of the hotel was well-groomed and maintained. It was shining under the sunshine.
The green grasses and leaves of the trees were breathing and exhaling so nice energizing air for other creatures. Should we appreciate the blessing enough ?

Koikawa Onsen in Niseko Area !

by Kazu

This the gate to the well-founded hot spring spa hotel Koikawa Onsen in Niseko Area. The outside hot spring bath is near the small water fall.
The capacity of the hotel is not so huge but you can enjoy very calm and sophisticated atmosphere in the hotel and spa.
The courtyard of the hotel has a huge pond in which many fish are living. It must be hard to take away the snow on the premises of the hotel in winter but bathing and watching white scenery is also nice.

Sakamoto Park in Niseko !

by Kazu

This is well-founded hotel in Niseko Area "Niseko Grand Hotel"  with limited capacity. but the facility and the building were so nice, considering the years the facility experienced.
Wild lilies were blooming the pretty and vivid yellow flowers on the green leaves full-fledged.
The white river kept flowing in the shade of trees That may be enough for preparing  the guests from om ddof

Niseko Resort Area !

 by Kazu

This is the lodge near the hotel "Tsuruga Moku-no-shou". Lodge Moiwa is the name of the facility and map of the premises is on the left.

"Kanro-no-mori" is near the lodge and ease the pain of the guests of the lodge and other visitors to the area.
"Mori" means forest in Japanese but the name is for the hotel & spa. I think that there was a hotel run by Layton Club in this site but now this hotel is accommodating the visitors to this area.

Jogging around Niseko 2 !

by Kazu

So many country villas are in that area. The message "Save the natural forest" was on the sign board shown above. The cottages are not only for summer but also for winter.

Have you ever heard of the quality powder snow of Hokkaido including Niseko area ?
This hotel "Yugokorotei" is also for the tourists including the skiers from other part on this globe but I may prefer the silence in the facility for quality time with my wife.

Jogging around Niseko !

by Kazu

Inhaling what the trees exhaled, I was energized so much in the woods and on the very cold river flow. I will take you there, Norm !
Part of clouds was left between the trees and waiting for time to disappear. It is not the steam from the hot spring.
Some old hotels along this road was closed or refurbished. Running a hotel is a tough work even for well-experienced hoteliers.

Niseko in the morning 2 !

 by Kazu

Above is the gate of the hotel " Tsuruga Moku-no-shou" .  All the guests have to go down this slope to reach the entrance through the small bridge.
I went up the road to the upper side of the valley. The skyline was clear and shining under the blue sky.
A small trail invited me to the forest. It must lead to something excellent in the area.  What do you think the trail led to ?
